Abidjan, Ivory Coast | Trolley wheel alignment

March 2014. Following the delivery of two new container cranes to Abidjan Terminal by Cargotec, Langeveld has aligned the trolley wheels of these brand new cranes to the highest standard.

Over a period of four years, Langeveld Cranes B.V. has mathematically formalized the description of good trolley running behavior. These criteria were integrated into a fully operational measurement system and calculation software package. Making use of the mobility of the measurement set-up, the Langeveld crew has successfully executed the alignment on site in Abidjan, Ivory Coast.

Trolley wheel alignment is not only the key to a decrease in wear and tear between wheels and rails, but also improves the driver’s comfort.
